A program to provide all the books (book sets) of Sutrapitaka written in English language for free to all pirivenas and Seelamatha educational institutions in Sri Lanka, has been arranged by the director of pirivenas education, Pujya Waripaha Somananda Thero. A preliminary discussion about the opening ceremony of this program was held on 2023-21-03 at the Department of Special Education of the Ministry of Education under the chairmanship of Mrs. Deepika Weerakoon, a resident of Sydney, Australia. There, a discussion was held on the participation of the foreign lay clergy and to hold this program at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall in Colombo.
